This Keto Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Kabob Salad will satisfy the hungry meat lovers, as well as the light salad eaters.
The recipe is so simple and takes no more than 20-30 minutes to make.
You can assemble your salad and the dressing as the kabobs are cooking, and the recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for a large crowd (trust us, you'll want seconds!)

Kabobs are a great fork-free (and no carb!) way to enjoy veggies and proteins.
They're easy to bake, pan-fry, or grill, making them the perfect year-round dish.
These kabobs include keto cajun shrimp and andouille sausage with lots of peppers and onions, but you can add in whatever veggies you have on hand - zucchini, mushrooms, tomatoes, etc.
The possibilities with kabobs are endless!
What Equipment You Need
- Cutting board
- Mixing bowls
- Knife
- Wooden skewers
- Grill pan (or outdoor grill)
That's it! Let's get to cooking and make this delicious Keto Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Kabob Salad!
Start on Your Keto Kabobs
Soak 12" wooden skewers in water for about 20 minutes and heat your grill pan or outdoor grill to medium.
Cut the sausage into 3/4 inch rounds - like the picture below.
Next, move onto the keto veggies.
Cut the peppers and onions into 1 inch pieces.
Season the shrimp with your Cajun spices and then skewer the sausage, shrimp, peppers, and onions, alternating them.
Grill for about 20 minutes rotating along the way.
Make the Keto Dressing
Mix the mayo, sour cream or yogurt, and seasoning in a bowl.
The dressing will be thick. If you want a thinner dressing, add some extra-virgin olive oil (for healthy fats!) or water.
Start by adding in one teaspoon at a time until you get to your desired consistency.
Put it All Together
Divide the salad greens among four salad bowls.
Put three keto cajun shrimp and sausage skewers on top of each bowl and drizzle with a little more dressing.

- 6 cups mixed green lettuce or enough to fill 4 bowls
