Ingredients

  • 12 oz filet mignon steak Two 6 oz. Steaks
  • 2 tablespoons blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 tablespoons grass-fed butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Remove your steaks from the fridge and bring to room temperature (it usually takes 30 minutes).
  • Meanwhile, mix the blue cheese, butter, and parsley in a bowl. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
  • Heat your grill pan or outdoor grill to high.
  • Make sure steaks are room temperature before grilling.
  • Season your steaks with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the steaks 3 minutes on each side for medium-rare (cook longer if you prefer a more cooked steak).
  • Remove the steaks from the grill and let the steaks rest for 10 minutes under a foil tent. The temperature should rise to 130°F for medium-rare.
  • Top the steaks with the blue cheese sauce and serve!
