- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup monk fruit sweetener
- 1/4 cup dried elderflowers
- 5 oz. champagne cold!
- 1/4 cup 100% grapefruit juice cold!
Make your Elderflower Simple Syrup by combining the water, monk fruit sweetener, and elderflowers in small saucepan over medium heat.
Simmer the mixture for 3-5 minutes, then turn off the heat and let the liquid cool for 10 minutes .
Strain the liquid through a paper towel into a cup/bowl and discard the solids.
Pour the champagne, grapefruit juice, and Elderflower Simple Syrup in a wine glass and stir to combine.
Garnish the wine glass with a sprig of thyme and a grapefruit wedge.
