And feel free to grill them or oven bake them- either way they turn out perfect and delicious. Warm and hearty from the butter- October perfection. RECIPE: 24 oysters 1 stick butter 1 large scallion, chopped 1/4 t garlic powder 1/4 t chili powder 1/2 t apple cider vinegar 1 T chopped chives Tabasco Heat oven to 475 F. Discard opened oysters and rinse the shells. In small saucepan set to low-medium, add butter, scallion, and garlic powder and chili powder. Cook for 5 minutes. Place oysters on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until opened. Carefully remove top shell with a knife being careful not to spill the oyster liquor. Top each oyster with brown butter sauce and return to oven to bake for a few more minutes. All those lovely Thai flavors hit all the right notes and the soup is hearty but fresh at the same time. It’s so easy to make too. RECIPE: 1 T coconut oil 3 T green curry paste 1 lb. chicken tenders, cut into pieces 1 can coconut milk 1/2 cup chicken stock 2 spicy red chilies 1 cup bell pepper, sliced 1 1/2 T fish sauce 1 T sweetener 1/4 cup basil leaves, torn 2 (8 oz.) packs shirataki rice Limes, cilantro, and basil for garnish Heat skillet to medium and add oil, curry paste, and chicken. Cook until chicken is browned on the outside but not all the way cooked on the inside. Add chilies and peppers, followed by coconut milk, stock, fish sauce, and sweetener. Simmer for 10 minutes, then add basil and cook for another 5 minutes. To make this Keto Kraken dish we simply tossed @miraclenoodle spinach noodles with pesto and then braised small octopus. We then placed the pasta in mini cast irons followed by the octopus, and draped the noodles and tentacles over the edges. Place the dishes atop black pillar taper holders for a dramatic effect. Oozing with melted cheese, these things will satisfy Keto and non Keto people alike. And so fast and easy to make. RECIPE: 1 shallot, sliced 2 T olive oil 2 T balsamic vinegar 2 cloves minced garlic 4 sprigs thyme 4 Portobellos, cleaned with gills removed and stems chopped and set aside 8 oz. Brie Sprinkle of coarse salt In small skillet set to medium heat, add shallots and 1 t olive oil. Turn heat down to low and sauté for about 15 minutes or until crisped and caramelized. Set aside and add stems and saute for 5 minutes. In large dish toss together olive oil, balsamic, and garlic. Coat mushrooms in mixture. Bake on sheet pan at 425 F for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and top with brie, stems, and thyme. Bake at 350 F for 5 minutes or until cheese is softened.
